I need to install Magento on this domain.
However, Magento requires php5.2+ to run. So, i have tried to install it
to
run on cgi as described here:
http://www.magentocommerce.com/knowledge-base/entry/installing-magento-on-a-php4-server
But it didn;t work.
So, my options are as follow:
1. To request your support to install the Magento for me. Or,
2. To move my account to a newer sys

You can buy dedicate server and we install there PHP 5.2
However what errors displayed? when you tried to install Magento yourself?

enough profit for itself through ecommerece. But I will do that once things
start kicking!!!
Since I need to run magento on cgi php5.2+, I have followed that
instruction
here:

(It basically modify the .htaccess to direct the php request by adding
these
two lines:
Action php5-cgi /cgi-bin/php5-cgi
AddHandler php5-cgi .php
)
But when I tried the installation, I received “File Not Found”

I overwrite
php5-cgi
+
[root@sys98 httpdocs]# cp .htaccess.sample .htaccess
+
Add two lines to it so it looks like this:
Action php5-cgi /cgi-bin/php5-cgi
AddHandler php5-cgi .php
and got
http://www.ХХХ/index.php/install/
